What we look for
These are the things we’ve found matter most in practice, above any specific skill.
You think carefully about what you're building.
We work in healthcare. The systems we build influence clinical decisions. We need people who take that seriously — who ask 'what happens when this is wrong?' before asking 'how do we ship this faster?'
You're comfortable with domain expertise you don't have.
We work alongside world-class clinicians and researchers. The best people we've hired know when to defer to domain knowledge they don't have, and know how to translate technical constraints into terms a clinician can evaluate honestly.
You're drawn to hard, important problems.
We're building infrastructure — not apps. The problems we work on don't have obvious solutions and the solutions we find don't always have obvious applications. We look for people who find that energising, not frustrating.
You can hold depth and simplicity at the same time.
The platform is technically complex. The products need to be simple enough for a clinician to trust. We need people who understand both — who can reason at the level of stage verifiers and also explain what they do to a nurse in two sentences.
We hear from interesting people regardless of open roles. If you care deeply about the problem and have something real to contribute, we want to hear from you.
